




Honduras Pedro Moreno
Pedro Moreno, who is now 94 years old, was one of the first coffee producers to grow and sell specialty coffee in the Santa Barbara, Honduras area. There are now over 30 farms in the area under the Moreno family, and we had the opportunity to visit their home in spring of 2025. After a delicious home-cooked meal and a tour of their many drying beds directly behind the house, there was no doubt we would be purchasing coffee from this incredible family. Add to that a coffee that stood out for it's sparkling grapefruit acidity and caramel sweetness, and we know this is the start of a beautiful relationship with Pedro and the Moreno family.
