Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of the kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety.
• Collaborate with the management team to develop and update menus, ensuring variety, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and customer preferences, maintaining consistency in taste and presentation.
• Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and organizing food and supplies to ensure optimal freshness and minimize waste.
• Monitor and control food costs by accurately tracking and documenting all expenses and implementing effective portion control measures.
• Uphold and enforce health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of food, equipment maintenance, and cleanliness standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Kitchen Lead or similar role in a fast-paced food service environment, preferably in a coffee shop or similar establishment.
• In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Proficiency in preparing a variety of dishes, including breakfast items, sandwiches, parfaits, and baked goods.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
• Solid understanding of inventory management and cost control principles.
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable dining experiences.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
