Brought to us from the privately owned Worka Chelbessa washing station, in the region of Gebed, Yirgacheffe. This washed coffee is illuminating with bright energy as a result of the traditional “double washing” method that is used prior to drying. The station patterns with SNAP, which brings hundreds of smallholder farmers together to sort, process and export their coffee together.
"Imagine a woodland creature inviting you to her home in a hollow log. She's throwing a party. Her guests are chewing on walnuts and wearing fancy dark clothing. Your host puts on a record and opens the windows. Some tiny, slow-moving lightning bugs fly in and guests begin dancing."
A blend designed for cool midwestern temperatures. Bake a pie, wear a sweater, rake some leaves, drink some coffee, spill some coffee on your sweater, do some laundry.
