Brought to us from the privately owned Worka Chelbessa washing station, in the region of Gebed, Yirgacheffe. This washed coffee is illuminating with bright energy as a result of the traditional “double washing” method that is used prior to drying. The station patterns with SNAP, which brings hundreds of smallholder farmers together to sort, process and export their coffee together.
"Imagine a place in the woods. The moon smiles brightly in the dark sky. Dusty snowflakes bide their time, swimming through the crisp night, over branches and onto the forest's glittering floor. Woodland animals gather at the foot of a fir tree decorated with holly and popcorn. It's calm and light. That's what this blend tastes like."
